VINTAGE | MID CENTURY TWO-TONED TEAPOT

24.00

*VINTAGE* Classic two-toned design from the 1950s. The teapot is unmarked, however, if you'd like a little background then you'd love to know that the woman who sold this to me had gathered pieces from her mother's estate, after she passed, and this was one of them. She told me she remembered her grandmother pouring tea from this pot when she was a child. The teapot was later passed down to her own mother.

Colors are pale pink glazed pot with black glazed lid.

The underside of the lid has subtle tea staining from years of use. There is about a two finger width, narrow chip on the inside lip of the pot, where someone must have lifted the lid without pivoting it down first. In the same area, on the outside lip, there's a small piece of glaze that has flaked off. It should also be noted that the teapot isn't completely level but sits perfectly still on a shelf or table top and pours beautifully. In overall great condition!

Made of ceramic.

Measures 9.25" (handle to spout) x 5.5" high (including lid). Measures 6" wide (not including handle or spout) x 4.5" high (not including lid).

Not dishwasher safe. Hand wash with mild soap only.
